Due to amazing interest in Ivory Homes' new Workforce Housing Priority program, the company has created a FAQ to get prospective buyers' most important questions answered. The program sets aside lots for homes, outside of any government mandate, to provide housing affordability to Utah's most vital workforce.
Q. Who qualifies for homes for the Utah Workforce Housing Program?
A. First time homebuyers, all members of the military, Veterans, and individuals who hold a public service profession (teachers, police, firefighters, etc) or are in the construction industry.
Note: An individual only needs to meet just one of the listed criteria to qualify. For example, to qualify for this program a prospective buyer could be a police officer married to a teacher.
Q. How can someone get on the priority list?

Q. What happens after I sign up?
A.You will be contacted by an Ivory Homes sales agent as a follow up.
Q. How does the priority list work?
A. Priority is set on a first-come, first-served basis. Once an individual registers online and pays the $500 deposit, they will be added to the list in the order they signed up.
Q. How many homes will be available or developed this year?
A. Ivory Homes has 305 homes that will be available or developed in 2019 for Workforce Housing. Additional homes will become available.
Q. What areas are included in the Workforce Housing program?
A. Areas slated for the program are Overland in Eagle Mountain, Broadview shores in Provo, Holbrook Farms in Lehi, Newport Village in Spanish Fork, Sagewood in Tooele County, Monterey Estates in Syracuse, and Haven Parkway in West Haven (Coming in 2019). Other development areas in some cases including Ivory Collection Communities may be released in the future.
Q. How soon will a home be ready?
A. There will be homes ready as early as Spring 2019, as some homes are already under construction and many begin construction soon.
Q. What are the added benefits of the Utah Workforce Housing Priority Program?
A. In addition to reserving a spot on the priority list and compelling pricing – a sprinkler system as designed by Ivory Homes will be included. Ivory Homes will also provide sod for the full yard, two caliper trees and $2,000 towards closing costs or options, such as washer and dryer, refrigerator, window coverings or other options offered by Ivory Homes.
Q. What are the restrictions?
A. Additional benefits listed above are only available for buyers financing their purchase using Momentum Home Loans. All participants’ eligibility must be confirmed by Momentum Home Loans. Homes must be owner occupied and shall not be rented or sold for a period of two years after closing. No outside realtor may be used.
Q. Does the price of $260-350k include just the lot or both the house and the lot?
A. The price includes both the house and the lot.
Q. Are the homes included in this program detached?
A. Yes, all are single-family detached homes with a full yard.
