Whitney, her fiancé, and two beautiful children are very excited to move into their Ivory Home in Monterey Estates.  Whitney shares first time homebuyers' advice, her positive experience with Ivory Homes, and what she is looking forward to in her new home. What Ivory community are you building in? Which home plan? 

We are building the 1350 in Monterey Estates

Why did you choose Ivory Homes over other homebuilders? 

We had such an amazing experience working with Verlyn. We went into a model in a different Ivory community but it wasn’t a good fit for us. Verlyn was so nice and really wanted to make sure she understood what we were looking for. Once we were able to tell her, she sent us to Monterey Estates and knew that the 1350 would be perfect for our first house!

What have you enjoyed about building with Ivory Homes? 

The communication between us and our sales rep. Anytime we have had questions, she is there to answer them.

What are you most looking forward to experiencing in your new home?

Spending nice quality time with our kids. They have loved going weekly to see the progress and seeing how a house is built. We look forward to spending summers at the pool in the community and getting a trampoline for our back yard. We are also excited to get out of a very small 2 bedroom apartment.

Do you have any advice for other homebuyers? Why should they choose Ivory Homes?

Don’t be afraid to ask questions. We chose Ivory because we felt no pressure and the community was exactly what we were looking for. 

What do you plan to do with your gift certificate to Hamilton Park Interiors? What areas in your home are you decorating with the gift certificate?

Hamilton Park has so many beautiful things in their store. The designer that was walking around with us was so helpful. I’m thinking that we might use it to buy a new rug or to help us make our living room feel homey.

How do you want your home to feel when you come home and guests visit?

Warm and welcoming.
