Doug Wright’s journey starts in the Ivory Homes Design Center, where he and his wife D, choose all of their custom design features for their beautiful new home. With over 1,000 features available, Ivory Homes is able to fully customize your home, your way. Many other builders only offer certain design packages, with only a few upgradeable features, or a very basic option, and nothing but upgrades. Ivory Homes offers 3 main design packages geared for those who don't want to waste their time and money upgrading everything. Ivory's standard design packages often out-do the 'others' upgrades.

We live in a world where customization is how we express who we are, it’s our way of adding our personality to our belongings, a form of self expression. Ivory Homes knows that this is key when it comes to building your dream home. With an expert design staff at your disposal, your home will not only be the way you want it, but you can be confident in knowing it will look great! Ivory's design consultants work hard with each and every home in making sure that your new home stays up with current style and trends today, and for years to come. They work effortlessly to help your home be the best home it can possibly be.

Your agent will be with you every step of the way, from start to finish.  This isn’t just a purchase, relationships are formed from this experience.

With the completion of the foundation, framing will begin and your new home will start to take shape. After the framing is complete, the electrical, plumbing, and heating/air conditioning utilities will be installed. During this time several framing and utility quality checks are completed by Ivory and city inspectors.  At Ivory Homes, we believe that the construction of your home should be a memorable and exciting time. Part of the excitement comes from understanding the building process and knowing what to expect. Our superintendents work close with buyers to make sure that day to day operations on the construction of their new home stays on schedule while maintaining quality control.

Your superintendent will invite you to come on site for a four-way inspection. It is called a four-way inspection because you will review four main construction areas: rough framing, plumbing, electrical wiring, and heating/air conditioning systems. Your superintendent will walk you through the home and help you understand the layout of the utilities prior to being covered with drywall.

After your four-way inspection and the installation of drywall, finish carpentry will begin. During this phase, door casings, baseboards, cabinets, countertops as well as many of the lighting fixtures, carpet, HVAC and plumbing finishes will be installed. What was once just a structure begins to look more like a new home. A new home that Doug and D will enjoy for years to come.
